CuAl12Ni5Fe5 is a high-strength complex aluminum bronze, considered one of the highest-performing non-ferrous alloys. Extremely hard and tough, it offers exceptional resistance to static and dynamic loads, as well as excellent resistance to corrosion and erosion in marine environments. The Al₂O₃ oxide layer that forms naturally on the surface provides passive protection comparable to that of stainless steel, with the added advantage of being non-magnetic and spark-resistant. It is the material of choice for the most demanding applications: ship propellers, offshore pumps and valves, industrial gears, and aerospace components.
