Alloy C-276 is a nickel-molybdenum-chromium-based superalloy known for its exceptional corrosion resistance in a very wide range of aggressive chemical environments. Its composition gives it excellent resistance to oxidizing and reducing acids, chlorides, and localized corrosion. It is considered one of the most versatile alloys for severe chemical processing applications.
