Alloy 800 is an austenitic nickel-iron-chromium alloy designed for applications requiring excellent resistance to oxidation, carburization, and high-temperature corrosion. It retains good mechanical properties up to approximately 800 °C and exhibits good metallurgical stability during prolonged exposure to heat.
