Tungsten-rhenium

WRe

Tungsten Rhenium

Alloying tungsten with rhenium results in greater malleability. In addition, tungsten-rhenium has a higher recrystallization temperature and better creep resistance. We can produce several types of WRe alloys; please contact us for specific compositions. Specially suited for applications at temperatures above 2000°C in the aeronautics and aerospace industries.
