Tungsten-Copper

Copper-tungsten is a composite material consisting of copper and tungsten, designed to combine copper’s high electrical and thermal conductivity with tungsten’s high resistance to heat, wear, and electric arcing. It is primarily used for electrical discharge machining (EDM) electrodes, electrical contacts, resistance welding electrodes, and components subjected to high thermal stresses.
