UNS R34000

Rhenium is a very rare, dense, silvery metal known for its extremely high melting point and high resistance to corrosion. Chemically, it is similar to molybdenum and tungsten. It is primarily used in superalloys for aircraft turbines, where it improves heat resistance and creep resistance. It is also found in certain catalysts used in the petrochemical industry and in components requiring very high thermal stability.
