ALLOY 718

Nickel alloy

UNS No. 7718

Alloy 718 is a precipitation-hardenable nickel-chromium-based superalloy that offers an exceptional combination of mechanical strength, fatigue resistance, and creep resistance up to approximately 650–700 °C. Thanks to its good weldability and metallurgical stability, it is one of the most widely used superalloys in the aerospace, energy, and oil industries.
